G'Day Everyone,
SnoopS from Stuff and Things here,

In this Rule Guide im gonna be explaining the rules for a great card game called "Superfight".

Superfight is a card game of absurd arguments.  Players make a Fighter with various attributes
and abilities, then argue over who would win in a fight.

If you need a location for the fight to occur, imagine the Fighters are fighting on an island,
or maybe in a big city like New York or London.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NEW BASIC RULES! (As of July 2014)

Setup :
Seperate the cards into 2 piles, 1 pile of White Cards (Character Cards) and 1 pile of Black
Cards (Attribute Cards).  Shuffle the deck of White cards to mix them thoroughly, then do the
same with the Black Cards.

Round One :
Decide who will start (Usually the Youngest Player), that player draws 3 White Cards and 3
Black Cards.

The Player to their left then draws 3 White Cards and 3 Black Cards also.

The 2 Active Players chose 1 White Card and 1 Black Card each to create a Fighter.  Each
Player then places their Fighter face down on the table and puts the rest of their cards into
the 2 discard piles (One for White Cards and one for Black Cards).

The 2 Active Players then turn over their cards to reveal their Fighters.  Each Player then
draws 1 more Black Card and adds that card to their Fighter.

The Superfight :
The 2 Active Players then argue and plead their case as to why their Fighter should win the
fight.

Everyone then discusses the fight (Set a time limit if your group needs that kind of thing).

After the discussion is over (or the time limit is reached), everyone votes on who should win
the fight and become the Winning Fighter.

In the event of a draw, the 2 Active Players draw a White Card each.  Those 2 White Cards
fight with no Attributes.  Winner of the tie-breaker match wins the round.  Discard all White
Cards used in the tie-breaker round.

The Winning Fighter (1 White Card, and 2 Black Cards) stays on the table, and the Player who
created it earns 1 Point.  All other cards go back to the discard piles.
NOTE : The Winning Fighter gets no new attribute cards.

Round Two :
The next Player to the left then draws 3 White Cards and 3 Black Cards and tries to create a
Fighter (1 White Card and 1 Black Card) to beat the Winning Fighter from the previous round.
Once the new Fighter is chosen, the top card from the Black Cards deck is added to the new
Fighter.  The discussion and voting starts over, and a Winning Fighter is chosen.

If a Fighter is the Winning Fighter for 3 consecutive rounds it is retired as a Champion.  Its
creator must then draw 3 White Cards and 3 Black Cards and create a new Fighter to replace the
Champion.

NOTE : If you dont have a Fighter already on the table, you must always draws 3 White Cards
and 3 Black Cards at the start of their turn.
NOTE : If your turn begins with your own Fighter already on the table, and that Fighter has
fewer than 3 wins, that Fighter stays on the table.

Ending the Game :
Play until you don't want to anymore.
Or set a Score Limit before you start playing, when any Player reaches the Score Limit the
game ends.

The Player with the most Points at the end of the game wins.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alternate Rules

Villain Battle :

Separate the White Cards (Characters) and the Black Cards (Attributes).

Every Player draws 3 White Cards and 3 Black Cards. You can look at them, but dont let
anyone else see them.  The least-liked person at the table takes the first turn as the
Villain.

The Villain chooses 1 White Card and 1 Black Card from their hand and places those cards
face up on the table.  Then the Villain draws 1 random Black Card from the deck and adds
it to their Fighter.

All other players then choose 1 White Card and 1 Black Card from their hands to create
Fighters to defeat the Villain.  When everyone is ready, reveal the Fighters one at a time
and announce them to the table.  Starting with the player to the left of the Villain, play
an additional Black Card from your hand onto any Fighter on the table (including the
Villain or yourself) and then discard the rest of your hand.

Next the Villain picks who would do the best against their Fighter.  That Fighter wins the
battle and gets 1 Point.

The Player to the left of the current Villain becomes the new Villain.  Each Player draws 3
new White Cards and 3 new Black Cards, and a new battle begins.

Battle Royale :
Separate the White Cards (Characters) and the Black Cards (Attributes).

Every Player draws 3 White Cards and 3 Black Cards. You can look at them, but dont let anyone
else see them.  Each Player places 1 White Card and 1 Black Card face down on the table.
Reveal the Fighters one at a time and announce them to the table.

Before playing the second Black Card, select on of the following game modes :
A)Each Fighter's second Black Card is drawn randomly from the deck.
B)Players may play an additional Black Card from their hand onto any Fighter on the table
(including themselves).

Everyone votes on which fighter would be the last one standing.

Pacifists :
Follow and of the rules outlined above, but this time choose the winner based on something
other than who would win in a fight.
Maybe base it on whose Fighter is the funniest, or imagine its a dating website and you're
picking the best match.
Pick who would be the best constuction worker, nanny, dentist, or use your imagination to
pick any other arbitrary Victory Condition.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finally :
Unlike other judge-based games, this is not anonymous.  Everyone knows which Fighter belongs
to which Player.  So, if a Player is being biased, for whatever dumb reason, you dont have to
play with that Player ever again.  They are lame, and should go play charades with their cats
until they learn how to play with people.
