Rule Guide for the Kittens In A Blender card game.

In this Rule Guide im gonna be explaining the rules for a great card game called "Kittens In A Blender".

Players :    2–4 Players
Approximate Game Time :    30 mins
Game Type :    Board Game / Card Game
Age:    8+
Game Mechanics :    Hand Management, Strategic Gameplay.

Objective :
Save as many of your Kittens as you can!  
Get your Kittens to safety ("The Box"), while sending the other Players Kittens to their certain doom ("The Blender").
Can you save enough of your Kittens from a terrible fate?
Once ALL Kittens have been saved or blended, the Player with the most points wins.

The Set Up :
Place the oversized cards ("The Blender" and "The Box") in the two halves of the Game Box.
Place the top and bottom halves of the Game Box on the table with a gap in between them ("The Counter").
      eg.   "The Blender"  "The Counter"  "The Box"
Shuffle the deck of cards and place it on the table face up.
Each player chooses a colour of Kitten to play as (Red, Green, Blue, or Yellow), and draws 6 cards.

How To Play :
The oldest person playing starts first.
Play then continues clockwise.
Each turn Players have to play 2 cards.
     Kitten cards are played onto "The Blender", "The Box", or "The Counter" portions of the game area.
     Any other card are played face up in front of the Player (Helps keep track of what cards have been played by who).
Try to move your kittens into "The Box" and move other players kittens into "The Blender", by playing cards from your hand.
When a "Blend" card is played, the following happens :
     All "Kitten" cards that are in "The Blender" are destroyed (Place face down in a pile next to "The Blender").
     All "Kitten" cards that are on "The Counter" are moved to "The Blender".
     All "Kitten" cards that are in "The Box" are saved (Place face down in a pile next to "The Box").
At the end of your turn draw cards until you have 6 cards in your hand.

Ending The Game :
When ALL 16 "Blend" and "Blend 'Pulse'" cards have ben played, End The Game.
Count the Kittens cards in the piles next to "The Blender" and "The Box"
     Saved Kittens are worth 2 points each.
     Blended Kittens are worth -1 point each.
Add up your score - Highest points wins.
NOTE : In the event of a tie - The Player with the most "Blend" and "Blend 'Pulse'" cards in front of them wins.

Card Quick Reference
Oversized Blender card - 1 card
This is the Blender portion of the game area.  Place it in one half of the Game Box at the start of the game.

Oversized Box card - 1 card
This is the Box portion of the game area.  Place it in one half of the Game Box at the start of the game.

Kittens - 64 cards (16 of each colour - Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow.)
Can be played into any of the 3 portions of the game area ("The Blender", "The Counter", or "The Box").
NOTE : Players may play "Kitten" cards of any colour.

Kitties on the Move - 18 cards (6 of each number - 1, 2, and 3.)
Move a number of Kittens (The number on the "Kitties on the Move" card) 1 space each.
Each portion of the game area ("The Blender", "The Counter", or "The Box") counts as a space.
"The Blender" to the "The Counter" counts as 1 space, "The Counter" to the "The Box" counts as 1 space, "The Blender" to the "The Box" counts as 2 spaces.
NOTE : To move a Kitten more than 1 space a Player would have to use multiple "Kitties on the Move" cards.

Blend - 8 cards
When a "Blend" card is played, the following happens :
All "Kitten" cards that are in "The Blender" are destroyed (Place face down in a pile next to "The Blender").
All "Kitten" cards that are on "The Counter" are moved to "The Blender".
All "Kitten" cards that are in "The Box" are saved (Place face down in a pile next to "The Box").
NOTE : Leave the "Blend" card face up in front of the player who played it.

Blend 'Pulse' - 8 cards
"Blend 'Pulse'" can be played as a normal "Blend" card.
Or.
"Blend 'Pulse'" can be played immediately after a normal "Blend" card is played by another player. This stops that players "Blend" card.
NOTE : Leave the "Blend 'Pulse'" card face up in front of the player who played it.  Draw back up to 6 cards if you need to.

Dogs in the Kitchen - 4 cards (2 of each direction - left, and right.)
Everyone gives their hand to the player on the side directed by the "Dogs in the Kitchen" card.  Every Player then draws back up to 6 cards if the need to.

Kittens in the Blender - 2 cards
All "Kitten" cards that are in "The Box" or on "The Counter" get moved to "The Blender".

These Cats in the Blender - 2 cards
Select a colour, move all "Kitten" cards, of the selected color, that are in "The Box" or on "The Counter" get moved to "The Blender".

Cats on the Counter - 2 cards
All "Kitten" cards that are in "The Blender" or in "The Box" get moved to "The Counter".

Kittens in the Box - 2 cards
All "Kitten" cards that are in "The Blender" or on "The Counter" get moved to "The Box".
